We went to the pool today on post and the kids of coursed loved it!! Damien is become a fish and Skylar is getting braver everyday. I love how it is free and not that crowded....and they finally have the kiddie pool open but unfortunately...it is still freezing...guess that is the price you pay to have shade...lol!!

Today is Barry's Birthday....

and I feel horrible that we are not together to help him celebrate!! But he did call last night and I got to wish him a Happy Birthday. And while I am talking about him....I will give everyone an update....

He is doing well for the most part....He sounded tired on the phone but it was almost 4 am when he called!! And to make matters worse...he was on his way to bed. Poor guy!! They are all working and keeping busy. For him, it makes the days go by so much faster.

I really don't know what else to say. He keeps me in the dark about what he actually does and I understand.....one it is to keep him safe and it is to shelter me from having to worry to much about him!! He is always thinking of me...lol!!

Anyways, think of Barry today and say a little birthday wish for him!! Take care.....

Was way better than I could have possibly imagined it!! We were suppose to go to my sister's house in Arlington and spend the weekend with her but had to change our plans....gas was just to darn expensive!! So, we stuck it out here and had a great time. We went to Freedom Fest at Fort Hood with our good friends...Cassie and her family! There was carnival rides and a Western show and inflatables for the kids to jump in!! The fireworks were better than anything I have seen in a while....I was quite impressed when it was all over with. I would even do it again next year!!

As most of you know, Barry is currently serving a 15 month tour over in Iraq. We are missing him so much and praying for him everyday. Please don't feel sorry that he isn't here with us because he is....in our hearts. He is doing well and trying to keep in touch with us as much as possible! If there was one thing he would want everyone to know, it would be that he is safe and healthy and missing everyone back here in the states!!

The first posts are always the hardest for me....so much to say but it all gets mixed up as I type!! We are doing this because we know that not everyone is a fan of the Myspace and we wanted to be able to let all of our friends and family see our family grow and our adventures through life....I am hoping to keep this up and if I do....all will see our family grow by the begining of next year!!
