Lance is 4 months old

And his daddy was here!! We went to the doctors today for his Well Baby Check up and he is growing!!

His stats are:
Height: 24 1/2 inches
Weight: 13 lbs 13 ozs

I can't believe how much weight he has put on!! He is doing so much...he is putting anything he can grab into his mouth. And he is drooling like crazy...he doctor said that he can feel a bump under his gums and said that is a sign that he might have his first tooth by 5 months!! He pushing himself up when on his belly and I think he is bashful bc he won't let me see him roll over!! But I know he can do it bc when I lay him down...I leave and come back....and the little turd is on the opposite side from how I left him!! He is such a social butterfly...loves it when anyone talks to him!! He loves it so much he will talk back and give you the biggest smiles you have ever seen...

He is home...He is home!!!

Yesterday at 330am...I was up and getting ready to head out the door with both my kiddos to PICK UP THEIR DADDY!! Getting up early and having to haul both kids was so worth all of it. To get ready for that day...the night prior, my neighbor and good friend...Jenny, helped me put up the sign and flags for his arrival! Then off to bed I went...lol...all 2 hours! We made him a sign so he could see where we were!! They had a hang out tent with food and many tvs for the kids. The best one was the one that showed the plane taxiing on the run way! We even got to see them deboard the plane!! It was a beautiful sight! After that we went out onto the field to await their arrival and it was so nerve racking...knowing that they were only about 5 to 8 minutes away. Finally the buses pull up and they revealed them to us like that show Extreme Home Make Over!! Some people were even saying..."Move that bus!" LoL!!! They then had to march up to us and then after a brief 2 to 5 minute speech from someone...LOL...they were released to their loved ones. Then we were finally reunited. Damien was so happy...you could see the joy in his face when he realized that he daddy was there and it wasn't a waste of his time...hehe! Damien wouldn't let him out of his sight...I think he was afraid that his daddy was going to leave him. We were able to get a family photo out there on the field...this is going to be one of those days that I will never forget!!

hanging out...

The boys were hanging out the other day and I thought it was so cute...so I had to share!! Enjoy!!

Flowers from Damien...

And here I thought I wasn't going to get any for Mother's Day!! And Damien's MOD teacher surprised us these beautiful flowers made from mine and Damien's hand!! I had a feeling she was doing something but didn't expect this. If it weren't for her thoughtfulness...I wouldn't have gotten "flowers" this year. She even attached a cute little song/poem to it.
Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful moms out there!!

Quick Update...

Well, the time has come!! He will be home in the next few days... I can't believe how the time went by so slow in the beginning and now the days are going by so quickly!! And the only reason for that is because I want to get so much done before he arrives. I am such a procrastinator!!

Either way...Damien and Lance will have their Daddy home!! Damien can't stop talking about him. Lance is just being his adorable unknowing self.

Now all I am going to do for the next year is pray that the days go by so slow bc I don't want him to leave again!!

He is coming home...holy crap...I am going to have my baby home soon!!

Trike-a-Thon

Yesterday was the day and lets just say I am glad that everyone did flat donations bc he was being so shy and unsocial that he barely did ONE lap!! When we got there he was so excited and wanted to jump on a bike and go. But as we got closer to the other kids (older), he started to close himself up! He had this look on his face almost the whole entire time...such a daddy look...lol!! He was so bad (not in a bad child way) that his teacher...Mrs. Donna...was pushing him around. We even tried switching bikes but he really enjoyed the one he helped decorate. But wouldn't you know it...after it started to die down and some of the other kids left. He started pedaling on his own and making his own course to follow!! And then the smile finally came to his face! They even got all the kids lined up and did a parade of bikes and trikes...lol!! After they were done with the laps they got to have some Popsicles...well, more like unfrozen Popsicles...lol!! But that didn't stop Damien from downing 3 of them!! Maddy and Jenny came to cheer on Damien...too bad it didn't work...lol!! She even got in the action and sat on a bike!! Lance was a champ...he was being loved on by Vicky, Jenny and myself. Thanks to those that sponsored Damien on that day!!!
