Damien LOVES rainy days!! I am not sure where he gets it from...but if I remember right...I used to like splashing in rain puddles!! Hope you all enjoy the pics of him playing...he was having too much fun!!

Lance Taylor!!!

Yup, that is right!! We are expecting another Boy!! I know I really had my heart set on a girl but instead we are blessed with a baby boy.

He is healthy and very active. Already weighing in at 1 bl!! He is measuring a week ahead. So, my guess is that I will be pushing out a BIG one.

I hope that I didn't keep anyone waiting too long to find out what was baking in here!!!

Jessica felt that I needed to get some pictures of my belly out there and took some pics of me yesterday!! They turned out great and I am so happy that I let her do it!! Thanks Jessica....you are the sweetest of the sweet!!

Damien's First Day of "School"

Today was a sad yet exciting day for Damien!! He started his Mother's Day Out program. It is structure and they teach him things for the 3 hours he is there on Tuesday and Thrusday!!

He went like a champ. No crying, no kiss for momma and he was all smiles!! I can't believe that he is there and I am here. I didn't think I would have any issuses leaving him but I found myself lingering after I signed him in...lol!! At least I didn't have to deal with him screaming for me...I think that would have made it really hard for me to go!!

I am happy that I now get 3 hrs a day to myself to do whatever I please...but it will most likely be used up with cleaning and cleaning and more cleaning....lol!!!

Yesterday was a beautiful rainy day and I just couldn't keep Damien in the house any longer!! So, outside we went. He loved it...he was at first a bit apprehensive. And once he got over the rain drops hitting him in the head...he was having a good ole time! Hope you all enjoy the pics bc I loved taking them!!

Sesame Street Live!!

Yesterday we went and watch Elmo and the gang perform for about 30 minutes. It was the cutest thing I have seen in a while. All the kids were in awe!! It was designed to help children understand deployments and homecomings. They even were giving out cute toys....it was a hit for Damien...it took him about 5 or 10 times to stop bringing it too close to his face...lol!!

Damien did what I expected him to...he watched for the first 15-20 minutes of it and then he wanted to move!! He is not the one to sit down and watch tv!! Thank goodness that it was only 30 minutes long instead of the 60 minutes we were anticipating....

I am missing my little girl....

yesterday was the day I took her back. It was a very long day and I didn't even have time to think about it. It didn't hit me until I got up this morning and she didn't ask me for a bowl for her cereal or to help her pour her milk.

I think that is why I cleaned up her room and put everything away....to try to take the sting out of her not being here.

I know in a few weeks it will go back to "normal" but I don't think the missing her is going to ever go away. She asked me to call her every Thrusday and I was really happy that she did bc it made me feel like she was going to miss me too!!

I now will just wait for Christmas bc that is the next time she will be here!! I can't wait!! She will always be my little girl!!!
