Damien is using pedals

The other day we were enjoying the weather outside and Damien starts doing something that I never seen him do before. He was using the pedals on his bike! It took him riding by me twice before I realized that he was using them...lol!! Here he is in action!! I can't believe that he is already doing this...when did my baby grow up so fast....

and don't mind me...I was talking on the phone while recording this...lol!!

Hanging out with Maddy

The other day Maddy was over and she is in love with Lance. She loves to love on him every chance she gets!! I also attempted to take a pic of all three of them and it was a funny sight!! This was as good as it gets. So hard trying to get them to look at the camera. But then she had enough of him...lol! He started crying...babies don't even like it when other babies cry!

Brotherly Love

Seems like the only pictures I have been taking lately of the boys have both of them in it and Damien holding him!! Damien loves his little brother and

I have a feeling that Lance loves him just as much!! I don't think there is a time...unless I am holding him or feeding him...that Damien isn't near his brother.

I am hoping that they build a very strong bond with each other! With them being so close in age...I don't see it happening any other way!

I was worried that Damien would be jealous of Lance and try to monopolize me but so far he is telling me to get him and love on Lance when he is crying!! He will even try to comfort him while I am holding Lance!

But I make sure to give both of them one on one time to ensure that both their needs are met!! So, I think that is why the bond of the brothers have already started.

Once a month Mrs. Cassandra comes over and does PAT (parents as teachers). It is a program that helps parents teach their kids and learn with them. Well, this months lesson was a messy one!! This is what they did to make their "puffy paint".....You take glue, shaving cream and food coloring. Then mix them together and apply to your paper! Simple as that and as you can see he had loads of fun!!

They even did another fun colorful/messy project. He got to paint with an ice cube! For this one you take an ice cube and some koolaid powder....sprinkle the powder onto the paper then take the ice cube and rub it around. He turned into a blue smurf...lol!!!

Damien always enjoys his time with her when she comes over bc there is always something new to learn or do with her!!

2 Months Old....

Today Lance turned 2 months! I can't believe how fast time has been going by since he was born! We went to his Baby Well checkup this morning and realized what a laid back easy going baby he is. He let his pedi do what he needed to do with no fussing or crying! Well, until his nurse came in and gave him his shots!! He is just like his older brother...a good patient!

He is now 9lbs 10 oz and 22 1/2 inches long. He is another shorty but for him starting out so little...he is doing great!

He is smiling and cooing with me. When I talk to him he will talk back..well, most of the time!! He is so alert and loves being loved on and talked to. He enjoys tummy time so much that he won't try to roll over onto his back...lol!!

That is all I have to report...he doesn't do much...lol!!

True Story....

Tonight was like most nights...Had some friends over for dinner. All the kids were playing...nice and not so nice...lol!! There was running around, laugther and some crying.


After they all left and we said our goodbyes. We went on with our routine.... I was going to skip bathtime tonight but decided against that bc he had school in the morning. While he was in the bath he was having good o' time splashing and carrying on. I washed him and let him play until I was ready for him to get out.


I ended up trying to do something for Cassie on the computer and was going to get him out when I was done but he decided that he had enough and got out. I wrapped him in a towel and told him to laydown on the floor of his room and I will be there in a minute to get him dressed.


Well, the minute turned into 5 or 10 minutes. I didn't think nothing of it bc he was quiet....a little too quiet!! So, I got done and then Lance started crying. I went to get Damien ready and walked in to find......

A lump on the floor...not moving! I thought he was "playing a joke!" He is quite the comedian. BUT.....

When I moved the towel from the face...I found this....A little boy knocked out cold!!

Never thought I would see the day when my little man played so hard that he would fall fast asleep after a bath!!!

1 month old

And I wanted to share some pictures that I took of him today!! I can't believe how much he has changed in the last month. I weighed him today and was worried that he would be like his brother and be a slow gainer.....Well, if I am doing it right (don't see how I could do it wrong...lol!!) he is now 9 lbs!! Yuppers...he has already put on over 2 lbs and 14 ozs!! Damien at this age was only 7lbs!! He has also added 2 1/2 more inches to his little body!! He is growing like a weed!!
